Announcing the ANA-LA convention chairbody/call for committees' coordinators

Dear friends,
We have been busy in the past few weeks trying to sort out the convention venue and working out some details with the Association of Nepalis in America (ANA) board. While the process of confirming the venue is almost over, we are now moving onto the other aspects of the convention.
To make our 2007 LA convention a successful, fun and memorable event, we have started the process of setting up the convention organization.
The FON- LA Board of Directors after consultation with many of the individuals who are taking an active role has nominated the following individuals for the various positions.
ANA-LA Silver Jubilee CONVENTION ORGANIZATION

Treasurer: Sandra Hunnicutt

Local Affair Coordinators: Bikash Sharma, Kundan Rimal, Neeta Regmi, Shyam Tulachan
Executive committees coordinators:
- We have several committees (please see below) for which we need the executive coordinators. We encourage everyone to participate in this process, step up, take the lead and help shape the convention chairboard. With your help, the process of setting up and confirming the active committees will be completed soon.
Please contact Bikash Sharma at 1-714-254-5102 or bikashsharma70@yahoo.com if you are interested or have any qns regarding the committees. Deadline to submit your request is Sunday, Sep 10. Some brief information regarding your areas of interest would be helpful as you send us your nomination.
Sub committees:
- Once the active committees have been confirmed, we will begin the formation of sub committees.

We would like to thank members of the steering committee who played an important role in bringing the ANA convention to LA. Many thanks to the members of the Adhoc committee for working hard for the past month to give structure to the planning process. The steering and the Adhoc committees are hereby dissolved.
The chairbody and the executive committees will be fully responsible for the convention planning as of today's date.
